The degree consists of 30 credits. An additional 3-credit internship is required for the 教学技术专家认证. 30 graduate credits are required for the degree but those who elect to also participate in the 3-credit internship for certification will earn 33 credits total.

A maximum of 6 credits of graduate work already completed at another accredited and recognized institution may be applied toward the requirements for the program. 转移 credits cannot be more than six years old.

应用ing for the Pennsylvania 教学技术专家 Certificate also requires an Instructional Level I or II certificate from PDE. 不这样做的学生 hold a valid Level I or Level II Pa. teaching certificate must achieve a Pennsylvania qualifying score in the three pre-professional Praxis 1 tests (reading, writing and mathematics) before they can be recommended to PDE for 教学技术专家认证.
